Dad,
I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday... You would have been
69 this year.... It’s hard to believe you were only 52 when you died...
So much has happened since then. You have 7 more grandchildren now,
Justina is no longer the only one. Sabina has Dyllan now, Rudy has married,
and they have Melody and Ryan... All of us wondered if Rudy would ever
get married! He and Crystal are very much in love, and their children are
precious... I got married too Dad, his name is Joe, and he’s a lot like you.
We have four beautiful children, and I
know you would love them! They are
great kids, and mean the world to me.
I just wish they had gotten to meet
you.
You know, none of us really got a
chance to say goodbye. The cancer
took you so fast. Four days after
being diagnosed, and you were
gone. We barely had a
chance to process your
illness in our minds, and
then we were planning
your funeral. It
doesn’t seem
fair... But I have
always been glad that
you didn’t suffer for long.

This is so touching Julie, and a beautiful way to scrap it. You must miss your dad terribly but I'm sure he's keeping a close watch over those grandbabies.

Very touching and a beautiful letter of memory. May I scraplift for one about my mom who died at 48?
