What a totally cool photo and your kit just enhances the heritage. It is so cool to find treasures like this.

I'm glad you found out who he was, at least. The way you have framed the photo is gorgeous. Love the layering.

Your story behind the photo is amazing! I think that your elements and papers you chose in creating this work of love are more than fitting for your beautiful photo.

Hi,
I am intrigued by this picture. Do you know where he came from? I have a Hugh Cameron Inglis in my family tree, born in Kilsyth, Scotland in 1821. Could it be the same one?

Hi again! This is exciting - I know who he was and we are cousins! Here's how the descent from the Hugh Cameron Inglis I knew about goes-
Hugh Cameron Inglis born Kilsyth 1821 married Margaret Chalmers.
Their son Hugh Cameron Inglis married Jane Lucas Dickson in 1892.
Their son Hugh Cameron Inglis married Agnes Letham Chalmers in 1925!
The first Hugh was my ggguncle.
I would love to know who the other people are in your photos. Do you think the photo of Hugh is the one who married Jane in 1892?
I hope you reply - I have lots of family info, going back to 1600 in some cases - and photos of Hugh's brother's family and descendants.
Best wishes, Kathy

This is a great page but more than that it shows how small the world really is. How wonderful to have found relations through Deco-Pages
