What a hard time for you - your journaling is so honest and heartfelt. I had post-partum blues but our daughter had post-partum depression twice and she suffered so much. I also had an aunt who couldn't take care of her child for two years, so you did really well! Wonderful layout!

What is more scarey is when the moms don't admit there is a problem and the babies suffer or die because of it. Great journaling and wonderful page! Good for you to realize what was best for both of you at the time it was needed and did it!

Such touching journaling...isn't it grand how therapeutic scrapping can be...and how wonderful to share such times in our lives with our friends here at Deco-pages. The torn paper and dark colors of the LO are somewhat symbolic and I see the butterfly and wonderful flowers as a symbol of the new life that's now yours and Shaun's! Very special LO!

Very touching layout! I had it and didn't even know they had a name for it back it 1968! And I had no family support so you did the smartest thing ever.

Oh, Rose, how difficult it must have been for you. Praise God, I didn't have it. Had all the sickness during it! You did the right thing , more people should do that and therefore they wouldn't harm their kids. Beautiful, heartfelt journaling and a very lovely layout

What a horrible time this had to be for you and a heartbreaking decision too. But like you said you knew he was better off at that time and it was only for a short time. You should be proud of yourself for making that decision which was best for both of you.  Hugs.

Out of the darkness-- the butterfly flies. Such a touching Layout -- both sad , and honest. But you have also given HOPE to your life, and possibly someone else who sees this page....
